Chapter 2. Greeting 인사

Hi guys,

The second lesson is about Greeting. 

 

 

1. 잘 지냈어요? How are you? / How have you been?  

잘 지냈어요? [ jal-ji-nae-sseo-yo] (Formal) How have you been?

잘 지냈어? [ jal-ji-nae-sseo] (Casual) How have you been?

네 잘 지냈어요. [nae-jal-ji-nae-sseo-yo] I’m good.

그저 그랬어요. [geu-jeo-geu-rae-sseo-yo] Just Okay. 

아니요 잘 못 지냈어요. [a-ni-yo-jal-mot-ji-nae—sseo-yo] I’m not okay. 

 

2. 반가워요 Nice to meet you.

반가워요[ban-ga-wo-yo] (F) / 반가워[ban-ga-wo] (c) Nice to meet you. 

반가웠어요[ban-ga-wo-sseo-yo] (F) / 반가웠어[ban-ga-wo-sseo-yo] (c) 

It was nice meeting you.
